How we pack delicate items

The first layer protects the surface: soft tissue or foam that will not scratch polish or paint. The second absorbs shock: bubble wrap or foam sheets. The third gives structure: a strong carton or a wooden crate built to size. Items travel upright, braced so they cannot shift.

Idols and puja items

Many families prefer to pack idols themselves or to be present while we do it. We are happy to work that way, and we keep puja items in a separately labelled carton that you can carry with you if you prefer.

Checklist: what is included

• Item-by-item packing with acid-free tissue, foam and bubble wrap
• Custom wooden crates for marble, glass and idols
• Corner guards and blankets for antique furniture
• Chandelier and light fitting removal and packing
• Photographs of condition before packing
• Loaded last, unloaded first

Our moving process

1. Survey and quote

   We see your goods at home or on a video call and give you a fixed, written quote.

2. Packing

   Trained packers wrap every item with the right material and label each carton.

3. Inventory and loading

   Items are listed, you sign the inventory, and the truck is loaded in a planned order.

4. Safe transport

   Goods travel in a closed or covered vehicle, with updates on long routes.

5. Unloading and checking

   Items are checked against the inventory as they come off the truck.

6. Unpacking and setup

   We unpack, re-assemble furniture, place items and take the waste away.
