1 BHK shifting in Lucknow

What a 1 BHK move usually involves

Most 1 BHK homes we shift have a double bed, one wardrobe or almirah, a sofa or two chairs, a dining or study table, a fridge, a washing machine, a TV and the kitchen. That comes to roughly 20 to 30 cartons plus the furniture, about 150 to 250 cubic feet of goods.

Packing takes two to three hours. Loading takes about an hour. Within Lucknow, the whole move is usually done by mid-afternoon if we start at 8 am.

Choosing the vehicle

If you have few items and a ground or first-floor home, a Tata Ace is usually enough and is easier on narrow lanes. If you have a large sofa, a double-door fridge or many cartons, a 14 ft truck carries everything in one trip. See our truck size guide.

Moving a 1 BHK to another city

For intercity 1 BHK moves, a shared container is often the best value because you pay only for the space you use. If you need delivery on a fixed date, choose a dedicated vehicle. Read about part-load shifting.
