How we plan a medical relocation

1. Site survey at both locations with your administrator, listing every item, its size, weight and handling needs, and checking lifts, ramps and doorways.
2. Equipment preparation by your engineers. Sensitive machines should be shut down, decommissioned and secured by the manufacturer's or your service engineer before packing, and re-installed and calibrated by them at the new site. We work around their schedule.
3. Custom packing: foam, bubble wrap, corrugated sheet and, where needed, wooden crates for delicate instruments.
4. Labelled, room-by-room move plan so each item goes straight to its new room, and the clinic can reopen quickly.
5. Loading with the right equipment and enough trained staff for heavy items; closed vehicles for weather protection, subject to availability.

Keeping downtime low

Most clinics cannot close for long. We can move in phases, over a weekend or at night, so that critical departments are moved last and opened first. Records and files are packed in sealed, numbered cartons with an inventory.

Important to know

• We do not handle hazardous materials, chemicals, biological samples, radioactive sources or gas cylinders; these must be moved by authorised handlers.
• Calibration and technical installation of medical equipment are done by your equipment supplier or service engineer.
• Transit insurance is recommended for high-value equipment.

Our moving process

1. Survey and quote

   We see your goods at home or on a video call and give you a fixed, written quote.

2. Packing

   Trained packers wrap every item with the right material and label each carton.

3. Inventory and loading

   Items are listed, you sign the inventory, and the truck is loaded in a planned order.

4. Safe transport

   Goods travel in a closed or covered vehicle, with updates on long routes.

5. Unloading and checking

   Items are checked against the inventory as they come off the truck.

6. Unpacking and setup

   We unpack, re-assemble furniture, place items and take the waste away.
