Planning a larger move

A 3 BHK often has three beds, several wardrobes, a large sofa set, a dining set for six, two or three ACs, a double-door fridge, a washing machine, a puja unit, a study and a well-stocked kitchen. That adds up to 60 to 90 cartons and 500 to 750 cubic feet.

For homes this size we usually suggest packing on the day before the move. The family keeps one room and the kitchen in use until the last evening, and moving day is only loading, transport and unloading.

Independent houses and stairs

Many 3 BHK homes in Lucknow are independent houses with stairs and no lift. Narrow staircases mean large items like sofas and wardrobes are dismantled or carried with straps. We check this at the survey so the right number of people come.

6. Unpacking and setup

   We unpack, re-assemble furniture, place items and take the waste away.
