Check society and building rules
Many apartments in Gomti Nagar, Jankipuram and the newer parts of the city have set moving hours, service-lift bookings and gate passes. Ask both societies early. We coordinate with the society office if you share the contact.
Beat the traffic
Morning starts work best. Roads around Hazratganj, Charbagh and busy markets slow down heavily in the evening, and some areas restrict trucks at certain hours.
What to do yourself
- Sort and give away what you will not use in the new home.
- Keep valuables, documents and medicines in a bag you carry.
- Defrost the fridge the night before.
- Pack a first-night box: bedsheets, toiletries, chargers, a kettle and some snacks.
